Lissone Cup (Laver Cup style) Tournament – July 6
It was a scorcher of a day but 24 members showed up to play the Lissone Cup in honour of past President Malcolm Lissone! The tournament was played Laver Cup style with the 14 men and 10 women (!!!) split in to two teams; Team Cary (aka Team Smash per Brent) and Team Ann-Marie. Five rounds were played and heading in to the fourth round both teams were tied at 10 points each! Alas Team Smash proved too much winning 32-13.
